Have you ever been banned from a serious role-play server? If yes, please explain the reason: No
In your own words, explain what role-play means to you: To me, roleplay is all about stepping into someone else's shoes and creating a story together with others. It’s about building a character with their own personality, backstory, and goals, and then seeing how they interact with the world and people around them. It’s like acting, but with more freedom to explore and improvise. You get to live out different experiences, face challenges, and develop relationships. It’s a way to escape reality while still being deeply connected to others through shared experiences.

Character backstory (100) words minimum Dayvon “Dee” Jaquavis grew up with a heavy heart, always longing for the family he lost. His parents were tragically killed in a drive-by shooting, caught in the crossfire of gang violence when he was just a child. After their death, he was placed in a series of foster homes, struggling to find stability and love. Despite his rough upbringing, Dee grew into a kind-hearted young man, always looking out for those who needed help. His tough exterior hides a compassionate soul, driven to make something of himself and steer clear of the life that took his parents, until he met the man who did the driveby. When he turned 15 one of his fathers friends who was a gangster had got hold of him and told him who did the driveby and his location, and gave him a gun. He then went to the location and despite his kind heart at that moment he felt anger and shot the man who killed his parents. Since then he has been trying to join a gang and make money for a better life.
What is power gaming provide an example explain why it’s discouraged Powergaming is when you force actions on other players without giving them a chance to react or when your character does something that’s unrealistic, just for you to have the better outcome. It’s about making your character too overpowered or doing things that wouldn’t normally happen in real life,
example
Let’s say you’re in a fight, and instead of letting the other player defend themselves, you just keep spamming actions like “I punch them in the face, then tie them up, and take all their stuff” without giving them any chance to respond. That’s powergaming
or using in game glitches such as glitch fighting to easily beat someone without them having a chance
Explain meta gaming in why it is strictly prohibited on southcity Metagaming is banned on SouthCity because it messes with the whole point of roleplaying. If you use info you know OOC (like from Discord or a stream) to make decisions in-game, it’s not fair to others and it kills the realism. On SouthCity, everyone should only act on what their character knows in the game, so metagaming just ruins the experience for everyone.
If you character was injured and flat backed (knocked unconscious) can you verbally communicate? please explain If your character is injured and flat-backed (knocked unconscious), you cannot verbally communicate. Being unconscious means you're completely out, you wouldn’t be able to talk, shout, whisper, or respond to anyone.
What is the purpose of the “/me” command? Provide an example of this proper use The /me command is used to show what your character is doing in a way that everyone around you can see. It helps make the roleplay more detailed and realistic,
example
If you type:
/me reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small notepad, it shows that you are basically reaching and taking it out of your pocket instead of it just popping out of nowhere on your hand
What does “FailRP” mean? Give an example of a FailRP scenario FailRP means doing something that your character wouldn’t realistically do in a real-life situation. It breaks the roleplay and makes things feel fake when it’s supposed to be serious,
example
If you get into a bad car crash at 100 mph and just jump out of the car like nothing happened and start running around, that’s FailRP. In real life, you would be badly injured or unconscious after a crash like that.
Define meta gaming in your own words and why it’s again the rules Metagaming is when you use info your character shouldn’t know, like stuff from Discord, streams, or OOC chats, to make decisions in-game. It’s against the rules because it kills the vibe of real, natural RP and gives unfair advantages. Your character should only know what they’ve actually seen or heard in-game
If your life is threatened with a weapon, can you retaliate explain If someone’s holding me at gunpoint, I’m gonna be scared for my life. I’m not gonna try anything crazy like pulling a weapon or running, because chances are, I’d get shot the second I move
